Google’s Display Ad Planner is a great tool for those planning a display ad campaign (as opposed to a text ad campaign). Working in a broadly similar way to the Keyword Tool, the Display Ad Planner allows you to identify demographics, device split, and suggested keyword ad groups, based on data collected by Google. These insights can be incredibly useful in planning out your display ad campaign, and can help broaden the scope of your ad groups through suggesting new keywords and demographics you can aim at.
