Client Id

The client ID, or User ID is Google’s tracking tool for collecting broader data from a user. Assigned to users for tracking across devices and across browsing sessions, the user ID is unique to an individual visitor (or customer) so you can really drill down into how they in particular are using your site. If you are not technically minded, it’s easy enough to get help setting up the user ID, and the range of data this can deliver feels like discovering analytics all over again.
